Dr. Sherman and Sharon Epps have collaborated on a high-level research study to identify barriers to financial contentment as well as key influencers of contentment in people’s lives. They share the result of their findings while Ron shares how his own personal experience with clients affirms what they discovered. Ron Blue is widely considered to be the father of Christian financial planning. He is the founder or co-founder of Ronald Blue Trust, National Christian Foundation, Kingdom Advisors, and The Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning. He is also the author of more than 20 books and has served on the boards of numerous organizations. Ron and his wife, Judy, have been married for 55 years, have five children and 13 grandchildren, and live in Bloomington, Indiana.
Sharon Epps has served as President of Kingdom Advisors since August 1, 2022, after previously serving as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Training. Sharon has a background in corporate banking, as a stewardship pastor, and as an executive with Crown Financial Ministries and Generous Church. She was also a co-founder of Women Doing Well. Sharon’s passion is to energize stewardship and generosity through highly-leveraged leaders.
Dr. Amy Sherman is the author of seven books including Kingdom Calling: Vocational Stewardship for the Common Good. Her most recent book is Agents of Flourishing: Pursuing Shalom in Every Corner of Society. Amy has a deep interest in kingdom investing and writes regularly for the Eventide Center for Faith & Investing. She is a Senior Fellow at the Sagamore Institute, where she directs the Center on Faith in Communities which assists congregations and nonprofit ministries in effectively advancing mercy and justice in their communities. Dr. Sherman also serves as Senior Advisor to Made to Flourish, a national network of congregational leaders seeking to integrate faith, work, and economic wisdom.
