Believers are meant to be the “righteous” who steward their prosperity for the “rejoicing of the city” (see Proverbs 11:10). This requires a more robust grasp of whole-life stewardship, and particularly faith/work integration, than many Christians possess. Through creative and strategic deployment of all the dimensions of their vocational power, believers can advance foretastes of Kingdom realities in and through their daily work. This session examines practical ways believers from multiple occupations are transforming their workplaces, industry sectors, and cities through such vocational stewardship. This session shares how you can practice this biblical concept yourself and encourage your clients to do the same.
Dr. Amy Sherman is the author of seven books including Kingdom Calling: Vocational Stewardship for the Common Good.
