Six Keys of Giving
In session five of the Theology of Money course, Randy Alcorn begins to examine the topic of giving by teaching on six keys of giving, including the following: God owns everything; I’m His money manager. My heart always goes where I put God’s money. Heaven – the New Earth – not Earth under the curse, is my home. I should live not for the dot, but for the line. Giving is the only antidote to materialism. God prospers me not to raise my standard of living, but to raise my standard of giving. He concludes the session by drawing the analogy that God’s grace is lightning and our giving is the thunder in response to that grace.
