This advisor panel consists of those who employ a consistent approach to client discipleship. Rob West engages in a conversation with Jim Wise, Randy Schroeder, and Jerry Black as they discuss the important and unique insights into client discipleship at all levels of spiritual interest – from non-believers to devoted followers of Christ. The panel interaction equips you in discipling your own clients along their spiritual journey.
Jerry Black founded Legacy Planning Group, Inc. in 1990. For Jerry, being a financial advisor is not just a profession, it’s a calling. While Jerry works effectively with all clients and values each relationship, he feels particularly called to work with affluent Christian families where he can integrate biblical wisdom into the development of a financial and life plan for each family, including the concepts of philanthropy and generous giving. Jerry is an expert in estate planning and the family dynamics of estate planning and family wealth counseling. He resides in Suwanee, Georgia with his wife, Camille, and they have two grown children.
Randy Schroeder, CFP®, is managing director for Ronald Blue Trust’s branch office in Houston, Texas, having joined the company in 1992. In addition to his leadership role at Ronald Blue Trust, Randy focuses on determining how individuals can meet their life goals through proper management of their financial resources. Prior to joining the firm, Randy served as Vice President and manager with Bank One in Houston. Randy earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas. He and his wife, Staci, live in Houston, and have three children and one grandchild.
Jim Wise is a Senior Partner and Senior Financial Advisor for the Private Wealth Division of Ronald Blue Trust. A frequent conference speaker for churches and faith-based organizations, Jim also teaches a weekly Bible study in the Lake County Jail.
