17th century British poet Thomas Traherne said, “As nothing is more easy than to think, so nothing is more difficult than to think well.” Erik Daniels provides a framework of what it means to “think well” as he discusses how you can lead clients beyond mere planning and into biblically-wise thinking. He covers key questions and outlines essential elements of thinking well, including why it is so difficult to think well, how to frame an issue, deal with reality, choose wise thinking, and act out of a biblical worldview.
Erik Daniels is executive vice president of the Ronald Blue Trust Family Office. Erik has been with the firm since 1980 and has held leadership positions since 1986, including Managing Director of the Atlanta, GA office and Regional Director. Prior to joining the firm, Erik worked as a senior accountant with Blue & Co., a CPA firm based in Indianapolis, IN. He received a BS from Indiana University and a Masters in Taxation from Georgia State University. As a member of the National Association for Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and a past member of the AICPA, Erik has been quoted in various news and business journals and has hosted radio programs focused on helping people manage their money.
