This call, which took place in July of 2015, is entitled: Why Screen for Alcohol, Tobacco and Gambling. If Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into copious amounts of wine at a Cana wedding feast, why then do we screen alcohol from BRI portfolios? This is a question often posed in some form or another in the BRI Community Group. Listen to this call to hear some statistics about how harmful the alcohol, tobacco, and gambling industries can be and why many BRI money managers choose to eliminate these companies from their portfolios.
