In this session, you will hear from Eventide’s CIO, Finny Kuruvilla on “The Power of Investing to Change the World.” He will begin by considering the role investing has played in shaping the world as we know it. He will look at how this history can serve as a model and inspiration for Christian financial advisors as we work together to advance God’s purposes in the world.

Eventide Asset ManagementFinny Kuruvilla, MD, PhD, serves as co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager for Eventide. Dr. Kuruvilla has a unique background in healthcare, statistics, and investing. Concurrent with Eventide, from 2008 through 2016, he was a Principal at Clarus Ventures, a leading healthcare and life sciences venture capital firm. Prior to joining Eventide, from 2005-2008, he was a postdoctoral research scientist in medical genetics at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. From 2003-2007, he was resident, chief resident, and clinical fellow at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Boston. Dr. Kuruvilla holds an MD from Harvard Medical School, a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Caltech.
