In many circles, Wall Street and financial advisors are not viewed favorably. Many people – and potential clients – view the profession as one of greed, selfishness, and profit above people. Financial advisors have the opportunity to change that image and gain social capital by showing the public the potential for good that is inherently a component of faith-based wealth management. In this session, Dr. Finny Kuruvilla examines wealth management as a means of contributing to the improvement of society. Dr. Kuruvilla will demonstrate how the financial planning process can lead to outcomes allowing the client to make a positive impact in the world through their financial resources.
Finny Kuruvilla, MD, PhD, serves as co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager for Eventide. Dr. Kuruvilla has a unique background in healthcare, statistics, and investing.
